In group counseling, people begin to realize that they are not alone. Many times individuals entering counseling feel isolated with their issues. People often find it encouraging to hear that other people have similar feelings, are facing similar challenges, or have even worked through a problem another group member is having difficulties with.
Under the skilled direction of our group therapist, the group is able to give support, provide new perspectives, and sometimes offer alternatives to what you are currently doing that is not working for you.
