In therapy, we provide a safe place for clients to explore their lives and their core beliefs that shapes the reality they are living. We see counseling as a process by which we guide our client in exploration, clarifications, and identification of their needs. Often times, we might not know what we need, we just know something needs to change! We are here to help you figure it out.

All relationships, especially romantic ones, experience conflict every now and then. Sometimes you are able to hit a bump in the road and keep moving forward, and other times you might get stuck. That's where we come in! At times, it takes an objective third party to look in from the outside and help you figure out what is really going on! We have experience working with couples on a variety of issues including: communication, conflict resolution, trust, infidelity, financial differences, co-parenting, unrealistic expectations, social media boundaries, intimacy, time management, premarital issues, and various perpetual relationship issues. We want to help you have the BEST relationship possible! Whether it's a relationship with yourself, or a relationship with a significant other.

You Are Not Alone
In group counseling, people begin to realize that they are not alone. Many times individuals entering counseling feel isolated with their issues. People often find it encouraging to hear that other people have similar feelings, are facing similar challenges, or have even worked through a problem another group member is having difficulties with. Under the skilled direction of our group therapist, the group is able to give support, provide new perspectives, and sometimes offer alternatives to what you are currently doing that is not working for you.

Our Mission is to empower youg girls to lead intentional lives rooted in self-awareness, compassion, and self-care.
Discuss and process everyday life issues
Learn practical mindfulness techniques and coping skills to combat stress, anxiety, and depression
Engage in mindful movement such as yoga and dance
Master breathing techniques that promote mental clarity and mood regulation
Receive mental and emotional support from licensed clinicians and peers
Interact & engage with peers in a relaxed and safe environment
This 6 week program will:
· Promote Self-confidence & Self-worth
· Teach Mindfulness & Situation Awareness
· Encourage Learning and Change through Positive Peer Interaction
· Increase Understanding and Acceptance of Others and MORE

PRIVATE YOGA & WELLNESS SESSIONS
Meet with therapist one-on-one for a holistic hour of yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation, and guided imagery. Sessions are designed to encourage integration of mind & body, while improving mental/physical health.

Community Mindful Yoga
Self-care Saturday is a community based yoga class guided by yoga instructor and psychotherapist LaShonda Sims Duncan. Classes hosted in the communtiy are designed to encourage mindfulness, relaxation, self love, and self-acceptance. Self-Care Saturday is for all bodies and abilities.This class is perfect for beginners who want to increase mind-body awareness, breath easy, clear their minds, and be present. The class is composed of a 45 minute mindful Vinyasa yoga flow and a 15 minute self-love guided meditation.

Reiki is an ancient Japanese laying on hands healing technique that uses energy to balance the body and mind. The practice can be used for an overall balancing of energy throughout the body, or specific areas where injuries have manifested. Reiki promotes relaxation, stress reduction, and healing.

I realize that not everyone will schedule an individual counseling session therefore speaking publicly and holding space with large and small audiences allows me to expand my reach. Speaking creates space for me to do my part to empower, educate, and erase the stigma surrounding mental illness and mental health therapy. I engage audiences with experiential activities, creativity, and movement.
