MEET YOUR THERAPIST
Greetings all, I’m Natasha, born in Tucson, AZ but grew up in Lexington, KY until I graduated high school. After a couple rounds of life I went into the military & as that career ended, I was led to go into a different career journey which has graciously landed me here as a therapist.
MY BACKGROUND
I obtained my master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville. As a MFT Associate, I eagerly continue to further my education through numerous externships specializing in Emotionally Focused Therapy, along with other courses to enhance my training through other modalities as a tool to help me better connect with clients & grow as a therapist.
I believe that through love, healing, & connection there is possibility for us to learn & grow together as we maneuver through therapy, life, & relationships in healthy & whole manners. My interests involve working with clients to understand & de-stigmatize racial micro-aggressions, working with veterans, military families, couples, children with autism, & individuals who experience PTSD, anxiety, depression, & other mental health concerns.
I enjoy hanging out with my family during my off time. Whether it be family vacations, game nights, movie nights, late nights baking bread or whatever else comes our way. I also enjoy volunteering within the community through my church & the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Post 10281.
I’d like to leave you with this, I know that there are times when life can get murky & it’s hard to navigate during those times, but I’m hopeful that our time together will be viewed as a lighthouse experience. Offering provision, guidance, protection, safety, light, & more as we take on this therapeutic journey together.
Stay encouraged.
