Meet Your Therapist
Hi everyone! I’m London Burnley, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville and my Master’s degree in Counselor Education with a specialty in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Kentucky.
I work with both children and adults, supporting clients as they navigate anxiety, trauma, life transitions, emotional regulation, and the everyday challenges that can feel overwhelming. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I draw from person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, always with a strong emphasis on multicultural competency and meeting each client where they are.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely understood— not just heard. Building trust is essential to my work, and I strive to create an empathetic environment where clients can explore their experiences openly, develop insight, and reconnect with their strengths at their own pace.
More About Me!
Outside of therapy, I value mind–body connection and believe self-care plays an important role in overall well-being. I enjoy going to the gym, going on walks, and finding small, grounding moments that help restore balance; and with that, I often encourage clients to explore in ways that feel meaningful to them.
